If you are already an Ad-Sense member, you may not know that Google recently tightened up their acceptance policies for their popular Ad Sense program.
Gone are the days where you can throw up a quick Blogger blog today and get accepted into the Ad-Sense program by tomorrow.
According to their policies, you must adhere to the following guidelines…
1) Your website must sit on a top-level domain (yoursite.com not yoursite.host.com or host.com/yourwebsite).
2) Your domain must be active for at least 6 months
3) Your Ad Sense application info must match your domain records
Due to the fact I am already a member, I was not aware of some of these policies until I began getting more emails from people who were getting rejected because their site didn’t adhere to one or more of the guidelines.
One blogger was quite upset, saying he believed his Blogger blog had very well written content that was unique. Another lady complained that the guidelines were just too strict and should be relaxed.
Take note that both of these blogs were created with the free Blogger service and neither had their own domain name to redirect to their blogs.
So in all these condition a normal blogger needs Alternative Of Google Ad-sense and i am going to tell you what they do for make money online ……

When it comes to online advertising Google Ad-sense, undoubtedly is the leader. If you follow their guidelines and TOS you can make good money from Ad-sense. Most of the blogs and sites depend on Google Ad-sense for revenue.
But not all webmasters and publishers are happy with Ad-sense and are constantly looking for alternate sources for revenue. Sometimes Google just bans a publisher account for click fraud or not adhering to their policy or take away their earnings citing invalid clicks. And no further explanations are given. As a publisher or a blogger you have to look for alternate revenue sources, even if you are holding an Ad-sense account. There are many ad programs that you can run along with Ad-sense ads.
Google will not release payments unless you reach the minimum payout of $100, which may take a small blogger or publisher ages to reach. Recent news about Ad-sense cutting payments to publishers are another concern for small publishers. There are other ad networks with much lower minimum payouts that they can try.
Many people have found success without using Adsense. John Chow made $23,448.59 in October, 2007 without a penny from Adsense. All of his earnings are from private ad sales, affiliate commissions, ReviewMe, Text Link Ads, Kontera, TTZ Media, subscriptions and ShoppingAds. Everton at Connected Internet made $15,179 during the same period out of which only $4,904 came from Google Ad-sense.
It might be intersting for bloggers from India to know that Thilak at TechBuzz made $3061.30 in April 2007 without using Adsense(this data is currently not available as the blog is revamped now).
For the webmasters who are either not accepted into the Ad-Sense program, or do not want to use Ad-sense ads, the following Google Ad-sense alternatives will be worth having a look. The list contains more than 170 ad-sense alternative sources which contains everything from CPM, CPA, CPL, CPC, Shopping networks, Contextual ad programs and affiliate networks.
Google Adsense Alternative
ValidClick
ValidClick offers an industry high average 44 cents per click to the publishers. Like most Google Adsense alternatives that I have written about earlier, ValidClick is also a free to join ad program with more than 150,000 advertisers in their ad pool.

Getting started with ValidClick is a four step process. Sign up, be approved, place the ad codes on your site or blog and start earning money! ValidClick works best for sites such as directories in a niche, like an attorney directory or a local city guide and sites with very high volume who have enough searches to benefit from a broad array of keywords. Don’t bother to apply if you have only less than 5,000 monthly visitors.
ValidClick pays publishers thirty five days after the end of each revenue generating month. You can either opt for a check payment or an electronic payment. There is no minimum earnings required for a pay out, mentioned on their site.
Check them out if you are willing to go through a little trouble in filling up the registration form. Explore ValidClick if you are looking for an ad-sense alternative and do not want any stones unturned.
Blue FN
Blue FN is one of the leading Cost-Per-Action (CPA) advertising network with a targeted publisher base and top brand name financial services advertisers. MIVA pay-per-click ads for your site and you earn revenue when users click on the ads. You can place their ads next to the site content and/or on search results pages. MIVA MC also offers inline pay-per-click ads within the site content.

Although available on most parts of the world, I could not find any minimum traffic requirements to be eligible for participation in their program, on site. But I am sure there must be some eligibility criteria. Anyway, you can explore and sign up for MIVA anytime you want to look at a Google Adsense alternative.
Black Label Ads
Black Label Ads is the adult ad program launched recently. The partnership between AdBrite and AVN has ended and all of their services and information with AVN is moved to BlackLabelAds. Till November 30, you can manage your account from either AvnAds or BlackLabelAds. Effective November 30, your account will exist on BlackLabelAds only.
A perfect Google Adsense alternative if you are trying to monitize your adult site or blog.

Even if you do not have an AVN Ads account you can join Black Label Ads for free. The sign up process is simple and there are no minimum traffic requirements as such.
You can even set your own pricing for the spaces on your site or blog. The user interface is friendly and very much like AdBrite and AVN Ads. There is no minimum amount that you have to earn to request a payout, which is a boon to small time publishers as well. Minimum default check amount is $20.00, but you can change it to any value you like. Payments are issued in US Dollars on a net-60 basis and checks are processed on the last Thursday of the month and sent out by the following Tuesday. They do not have any referral schemes at the moment.
Black label Ads are worth checking out if you have adult sites or blogs and are looking for an adsense alternative that works.

Burst Media offers web publishers two ways to make their site or blog maximum ad revenue. Burst Network publishers can choose from a variety of advertising programs and formats that feature a blend of blue-chip brand advertisers and specialized providers of goods and services. Burst Direct is their ad network that helps publishers maximize their sell-through by providing massive reach to direct marketers. These campaigns are a good way for web publishers to monetize unsold inventory.

Burst Media is also a free to join online advertising program. Burst Direct program pays you 65% of the revenue and will pay you on the 1st of the month, each month, for campaigns with end dates 45+ days prior. To be eligible for Burst Network, you should have at least 5,000 page views per mont. Your site should represent specialty content and no sites hosted on free providers will be considered for participation in their ad programs. Burst Network will pay you upto 60% of the revenue for participation earnings. Payment method is the same as for Burst Direct.
Explore Burst Media if you would like to know more about thier programs and to participate.
Yahoo Publisher Network
Looking for a Google Adsense alternative? Yahoo Publisher Network is a free to join advertising program that help publishers make money. It is currently in beta and offers content based advertising to a wide variety of publishers. It also offers ads in RSS feeds and lets the publisher receive a share of the revenue generated by each qualified click on the ads. If you are familiar with adsense, it is as easier in implementing the codes. You simply install code into the template of your publishing system and you will be served Yahoo! ads that may be relevant to a specific article or post, or to your content in general.

Unlike Adsense, YPN offers four payment options to you. Through PayPal you can receive payments on the same day if your earnings cross US $ 50. Checks will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days when your eanings cross $100. Direct deposit to your checking or savings account can be done on the same day your earnings cross $100. It also offers the option of transfering revenue directly to your Yahoo! Search Marketing account.
Once you apply for the program and once they determine whether your site or blog is eligible, you will usually receive a response within 10 business days. To be considered for the Yahoo! Publisher Network beta program, participants must have a valid U.S. Social Security or Tax ID number, and web site content that is predominantly in English and targeted at a U.S. user base. Hopefully they will make it available to the publishers from the rest of the world soon.
Please read the Terms and Conditions before you join
Clicksor
If you are a publisher or a webmaster Clicksor is another Google Adsense alternative you can look at. Clicksor offers webmasters the opportunity to earn additional income by simply underlining a selection of clickable text or dislaying targeted contextual banner on their websites.
It pays you up to 70% of the advertising revenue generated from your website or blog. Contextual Advertising Technology by Clicksor allows the visitors to enjoy the content of your website and bring generous earnings to you at the same time.
The sign up process is quite simple and is absolutely free to join. Another advantage of Clicksor over other advertising programs are that they have a live support system that helps in soving any problems in real time.

Clicksor provides online real time stats and a fortnightly payment schedule. In any pay period in which your earnings crosses $50.00, payments are made either by check or instantly through PayPal. Revenue totalling less than $50 will be rolled into the following period. That means you will get paid twice in a month, which is really attractive.
Perhaps the only deterrent for webmasters to join Clicksor may be the qualification requirement of participating sites to have 5,000 page views per day or 150000 page views per month.
Apart from this their other requirements are :
Site must be in English written content.
Sites must not be a personal or free hosting websites.
Sites cannot be used for software trading (warez).
Sites must not contain or link to any forms of illegal activity (i.e., how to build a bomb, hacking, etc.)
Sites cannot be proxy sites or contain links to such service.
Sites cannot participate in or transmit inappropriate newsgroup postings or spam.
Sites under construction, incomplete or contain little original content will not be accepted.
Clicksor is definitely worth having a look if you can meet these requirements.
Chitika
Founded in 2003 Chitika is an online advertising program that you can try out if you are looking for a Google Adsense alternative. They have built up a network of more than 12000 blogs and websites that serve Chitika ads.
Their products include:
eMiniMalls – Interactive Merchandising Kiosks
RPU – Related Products Unit
ShopLinc – Custom Shopping Portals
ShopCloud$ – A Tag Cloud that Rewards $
Owna – Display products in a whole new way
Linx – In-Text Advertising Units

Chitika makes payments made in US Dollars via PayPal and check. Payments are sent around the start of every month. You will receive your payments approximately 30 days after the end of the month in which your account’s total generated revenue crosses $10 for Paypal or $50 for checks.
It may be interesting to note that Chitika is the top revenue source for ProBlogger and many others, where adsense takes second place.
So, in my opinion Chitika is definitely worth having a try if you are looking for revenue from your blogs or sites.
RevenuePILOT
RevenuePilot may be considered as another Google Adsense alternative. They offer advertising revenue upto 60% of the cost per click to the publisher. Although RevenuePILOT encourages webmasters and publishers all over the world, currently they only pay for traffic coming from the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

As I mentioned above RevenuePilot will pay 60% of each search term bidded value. That means that if keyword “toys” is bidded at $1, you will automatically earn 60 cents from that click. Payments are made by check and PayPal without any charges. Wire transfers are done with a fee.
Payments are processed on the first business day after the previous billing period. You will get paid within 60 business days or earlier. Usually all affiliates are paid out in 30-40 days, via US check for the previous month’s earnings. Choosing to get paid through PayPal will eliminate considerable processing time of the payments.
The minimum pay out balance of $25 is easy to achieve for the publishers and webmasters. Real time statistical update will help the publishers to track their progress.
And, of course it is free to join and you can get 10% of the earnings of the accounts you have referred. You can check out how this advertising program works here. One thing I have noticed is that they do not require any certain number of visitors to your site or blog as such, to qualify for this program.
