The feud between The Rock and John Cena has turned Twitter into a “must see” event on a daily basis as both men continue to exchange “shots” at each other. On Tuesday, The Rock fired back after Cena commented about how The Rock wasn’t in attendance on WWE RAW in Buffalo, NY on Monday night.
“I should remind Cena I was NEVER scheduled to be on Raw last night. No problem – as promised, next time – LIVE – my boot to his ass. Yabba..”
On Monday, John Cena made numerous comments on his Twitter page about how he was looking forward to seeing the Rock in Buffalo for WWE RAW. Cena also commented how he will never leave the WWE referring to how The Rock left the WWE.
All concerns aside for other storylines, the feud between The Rock and John Cena has transcended the sport of professional wrestling and has taken over Social Media and mainstream news outlets. These two men are doing a masterful job in continuing this feud without having to exchange any punches. WWE should be given credit as well for their hand in this feud as they spend precious TV time promoting the Social Media exchanges between both superstars.
On Tuesday night, the WWE taped this week’s episode of SmackDown live from Cleveland, Ohio. The taped episode will air on Friday night March 4th. Last night’s SmackDown show opened with World heavyweight champion Edge coming out to the ring and celebrating Vickie Guerrero’s firing from last week. Drew McIntyre comes out to attack Edge. But GM Teddy Long makes a match between the two.
